Nunavut has begun vaccinating teenagers against the COVID-19 virus.
The effort kicked off this week at a mass vaccination clinic in Iqaluit run by Nunavut-Tunngavik – the territory’s land claim organization.
The territorial government has also removed the need for citizens to quarantine for two weeks upon returning to Nunavut. This applies to people who received two doses of an approved vaccine.
During the first two days of the clinic, 649 vaccinations were administered.
