Nation to Nation this week speaks with Joshua Frogg, the uncle of 12 year-old Chantel Fox who committed suicide earlier this month in Wapekeka First Nation.
Wapekeka warned Health Canada it had uncovered a suicide pact among young girls this past summer, but the federal department did nothing.
Nation to Nation host Jorge Barrera also speaks with Dr. Michael Kirlew who works in northern First Nations and sees the reality of the health inequity every day. Kirlew was joined in the Nation to Nation studio by Sol Mamakwa, the health adviser to Nishnawbe Aski Nation, which represents 49 Ontario northern First Nations.
