Evan Penner’s mother spoke to the media Thursday about what happened to her son in Saskatchewan on July 4.
Sherry Penner said she travelled from her northern Manitoba home to get him after seeing his violent arrest by Saskatoon police.
Penner said she couldn’t finish watching the video filmed by a bystander and uploaded to YouTube.
She said it’s been an emotional week and now she and her son need some space.
