A group of horseback ridings in a rural area outside Edmonton came across Amber Tuccaro’s skull.
The find came just days after Alberta RCMP launched a tip-line to identify a voice on a cell phone recording of a man’s voice believed to be connected to Tuccaro’s disappearance.
APTN National News reporter Keith Laboucan has this story.
The man obviously knew where he was going, where he took her and what his intentions were. I believe the man to be a local in that area. Someone needs to step up and identify him immediately. It’s very sad to see that another young woman who is indigenous has been murdered. How come her family or friends haven’t arranged a ride for Amber so that she didn’t have to hitch hike? Not that I’m saying it’s their faults, but I feel like someone should’ve taken the responsibility to ensure Amber’s safety. It’s time that we all step up in taking care of our indigenous women. Our grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, aunties, friends, girlfriend’s and neices!!!
