Mi’kmaq ramping up efforts to protect Nova Scotia waterway

It’s an important Nova Scotia waterway and the Mi’kmaq are determined to protect it.

Last month, the province issued permits for a controversial natural gas project.

One Mi’kmaq band filed an appeal Thursday hoping to bring the project to a halt.
