A contingent of Métis groups is pursuing a land claim for parts of northern Saskatchewan and Alberta.
The group comprised of nine Métis locals and more than 50 individuals announced the move Wednesday to right a wrong they say goes back 160 years.
They claim they are owed tens of thousands of square kilometres or a huge swath of the two Prairie provinces.
