The live broadcast of the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards are just a few hours away.
In Winnipeg, crews have been busy setting up the big event now in its seventh year airing Friday evening on APTN. In fact, over a 1,000 man hours will have gone into it the production for the big night.
Organizers say the show and talent have grown each year.
APTN National News reporter Meagan Fiddler was there Thursday to get a sneak peek into what goes into Canada’s largest Aboriginal music awards show. She quickly gets a little help from Lorne Cardinal who steals the microphone and takes APTN behind the scenes.
