Three hunger strikers fighting to protect their water travelled from Labrador to Ottawa over the weekend.
They want to force the provincial Crown corporation behind the massive Muskrat Falls hydro project to clear top soil and vegetation from the flood zone.
A study shows the remaining vegetation will create methylmercury and poison the fish and land their people need to live.
