Potential casino developments in the Mohawk community of Kahnawake have been voted down twice in the past. But some say that the community is finally ready for a casino, and they’re pushing for residents to vote ‘Yes’ at the end of this month.
Ryan Rice has been managing the latest version of the development, and he believes that after consultations with more than 30 Aboriginal community-owned casinos, the third time will be the charm.
