Hul’qumi’num dig in to retain traditional lands given to railway company

The Hul’qumi’num Treaty Group have announced new allies in their international fight against a billion dollar sale of private forestry lands.

Already in front of an international human rights tribunal on Canada’s inability to come to fair treaties, the HTG argues this sale would constitute a violation of their human rights.
