A rally in Halifax was one of a handful of Canadian cities that brought out people who are opposed to the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric dam.
Other cities included St. John’s, Goose Bay, Ottawa, and Winnipeg.
Land protectors in Labrador say the dam will poison the local waters where they fish, and where local wildlife drink.
In Ottawa, a number of people took their complaint straight to the prime minister’s office.
While in Halifax, it was more about informing the people of Nova Scotia about where their hydro will be coming from.
