On Thanksgiving in Cape Dorset, Nunavut, an 18-year-old man shot and killed his 23-year-old brother.
Two days later, on Oct. 13, two 15-year-old boys roamed through the community firing a shotgun hitting occupied homes and blasting holes in a stop sign.
Cape Dorset sits on the southwest tip of Baffin Island. It’s known for the world class art, but lately it has been gripped by a rash of violence and suicides.
Fear now roams Cape Dorset’s streets.
