A grand chief with the Algonquin Nation is in Montreal for an important meeting with Quebec’s premier Wednesday.
The meeting will focus on allegations that Surete du Quebec police officers sexually and physically abused Indigenous women in Val-d’Or which sits about 500 kilometres northwest of Montreal.
The Algonquin-Anishinabeg Tribal Council is aiming to put a little heat on Quebec before the meeting.
