Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, grand chief of the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs who has fought for issues effecting Indigenous people across the country, is now in a fight of his own life.
Phillip is making a plea for someone to step forward and donate a kidney.
He’s starting dialysis on June 15.
