After nearly four years the commission charged with investigating abuse at Indian residential schools for Indigenous peoples ended Sunday.
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission concluded public hearings in Edmonton after visiting over 300 communities.
The TRC heard from thousands of victims who recounted stories of cruelty and abuse while forced to attend the church-run schools.
