Fishing operator issues apology after controversial Kijiji post – but will it be accepted?

It started with a post on Kijiji advertising fishing huts to rent around Lake Nipissing in the Sudbury, North Bay area of Ontario.

There was nothing unusual about the ad – until you got to the bottom where it said no one with a status card need apply.

It didn’t take long for social media to react – or for the owner to issue an apology.

But what kind of an apology was it?
