An Indigenous – First Nations Health Services Unit administration office should be available at the hospital for medical appointment trips. The Unit could have professionally health-trained staff who speak First Nations language(s). A medical van could pick up the medical clients at the airport and have them registered at a First Nation hostel accommodations and provided with meal tickets to use at a designated restaurant or at the hospital cafeteria. The Sioux Lookout Mino Yah Win health services agency could submit a service funding application to have a readily accessible and joint health agreement with the hospital in Thunder Bay. These services are available in other areas of Ontario for First Nations health services.
