The former grand chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs finally addressed allegation against him over financial dealings that occurred under his leadership.
Ron Evans was the head of the AMC when hundreds of thousands of dollars were transferred out of an education charity and into the organization’s bank account.
Evans also received a severance package the AMC says he wasn’t entitled to.
