In Northern Saskatchewan one community has been gathering in a traditional setting for more than two decades.
Hundreds of people from English River First Nation gather to camp on the land for one week each year, where they take part in community-bonding activities.
Participants say it’s a way for the families to stay strong and overcome historical and intergenerational traumas.
