A devastating fire tore through dozens of homes in Iqaluit last night leaving scores of residents homeless.

Making an already bad situation worse, -50 Celsius wind chill made fighting the fire even more difficult.

APTN National News Iqaluit reporter Wayne Rivers reports from the scene.
