The CRTC has given Northwestel 30 days to publish exactly how much they pay for access to the Internet so they can determine if the communications giant is over-charging clients.
Northwestel provides Internet and phone in the North, but they also have to sell bandwidth to their competitors.
Yellowknife based S.S.I. Mico stands to gain the most. They were the ones to file the CRTC request and believe Northwestel over-charges them for access to their network.
