The First Nations Child and Family Caring Society is demanding immediate action from the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.
The tribunal is hearing a case in which the federal government is accused of failing to adequately fund First Nations child welfare organizations.

Although months have passed, the Human Rights Tribunal has yet to rule on the issue.
On Monady, the Caring Society launched court action demanding the Tribunal rule on the government’s motion to dismiss.
The Caring Society says children are suffering.
