The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops announced Friday that Pope Francis will come to Canada in late July on a three-stop tour of the country.
During his trip, Francis will meet with First Nations, Inuit and Métis leaders and survivors of Canada’s residential schools.
The Pope will be making stops in Edmonton, Québec City and Iqaluit.
While some are welcoming the papal visit, others are disappointed Francis isn’t coming to their territory.
