APTN’s Aboriginal Day Live event is gearing up for our celebration of Aboriginal cultures.
The lineup for the Winnipeg location was announced Wednesday.
The First Nations University of Canada in Regina will host the second location for the celebration.
The day-long event is free and family friendly.
Activities will include an artisan’s village, activities for kids and of course music and dance performances.
Legendary singer-songwriter Buffy Sainte-Marie will headline the event. Also performing will be renowned guitarist Stevie Salas and award-winning hip-hop artist Plex.
