British Columbia grand chief calls Trudeau a ‘serial liar’ over broken promises

The grand chief of the Union of BC Indian Chiefs didn’t mince words Tuesday about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Stewart Phillip called Trudeau a “serial liar” as more First Nation leaders signed a treaty prohibiting pipelines through their territories.

Phillip said Trudeau has already broken a number of promises.

The treaty was signed Tuesday in Manitoba.
