Nunavut RCMP announced today the results of a sting operation they held last month.
They investigated packages headed for northern Quebec and Nunavut. They found what they were looking for.
Police found 55 packages for 14 different communities were intercepted for containing a wide variety of drugs and alcohol.
No charges have been laid at this time. Nunavut RCMP estimates the contraband totalled around $80,000 in street value.
