Ballots burned during Poundmaker Cree Nation by-election

A by-election on the Poundmaker Cree Nation in central Saskatchewan was disrupted by a protest that resulted in the theft and burning of ballots Wednesday afternoon.

Some band members, including one councillor says the by-election was illegal and riddled with discrepancies.

APTN’s Larissa Burnouf spoke to one concerned band member who says he’s fed up.
