Saskatoon police arrested another suspect in connection to the death of Meghan Gallagher.
John Wayne Sanderson, 44, was arrested on James Smith Cree Nation on July 27.
He’s the fourth person police have arrested in connection with Gallagher’s death.
Sanderson is charged with offering an indignity to human remains.

Meghan Gallagher’s father thanked those he called ‘heroes’ for stepping up.
“The next step is, we hope, to find some way to bring Meghan home,” Brian Gallagher said. “Thank you for breaking the silence, and we’ve talked about the silence forever and ever, as long as this has been going on, and it is the big thing that is really doing the most damage to us and to a number of other families.
“It’s literally the big thing that is killing us.”
Meghan Gallagher, 30, went missing in the fall of 2020 in Saskatoon. In January 2021, Saskatoon police declared it had turned into a homicide investigation.
Also arrested in the Gallagher case is: Jessica Sutherland, 42, Roderick William Sutherland, 44 and Ernest Vernon Whitehead, 41. All are charged with offering an indignity to human remains.
