Aboriginal teen to be coached by Don Cherry

An 18-year-old Aboriginal kid from northern Saskatchewan is going to be calling the legendary Don Cherry “coach” as he’s part of the upcoming NHL’s 2013 top prospects game next month.

In the meantime, Eric Roy suited up with the WHL’s Brandon Wheat Kings to take on the Prince Albert Raiders this week.
