It is what the National Gallery of Canada is calling the largest recurring Indigenous contemporary international art exhibition in the world.
The new exhibit is called Abadakone, from the Algonquin word meaning “the fire continues to burn or continuous fire.”
It opened Thursday and runs until April 2020.
