A behind the scenes look at the battle to save the Peace river and the Site C dam

The Site C dam in northern British Columbia was approved by the provincial government in 2014.

Ever since, the project has been dogged by protests and lawsuits.

A group of Treaty 8 members along with local farmers who land will be lost are occupying a historic area known as the Rocky Mountain Fort right where construction crews are busy clearing trees to make way for the dam.
