144 years ago Treaty 1 was signed but what does that mean today?

Monday, marked the 144^th anniversary of Treaty 1 in Manitoba.

Hundreds of people gathered to commemorate the signing of the historical document.

Now, Treaty 1 First Nation leaders say, the event signifies an important step forward in treaty relations.
