Ken Coates waxes effusive about Justice Minister Judy Wilson, but I remember when she said that UNDRIP was inconsistent with Canadian law, when she opposed the Site C dam. Will the Liberal government actually pass Bill 262? Will they finally end gender discrimination in the Indian Act? To be fair, Ms. Wilson must attend to all issues in Canada. But if her tenure as Justice Minister is some sort of watershed moment in terms of Indigenous life in Canada, well, that remains to be seen
