Nation to Nation
Nation to Nation convenes an all-star panel of journalists to discuss the volatile world of covering protests. Desmond Cole covered the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, Jenni Monet covered the protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota, and Justin Brake covered the Muskrat Falls protest and occupation in Labrador. Monet and Brake both face charges for doing their jobs.
Also, Wayne Wilansky provides an update on his daughter Sophia Wilansky whose arm was severely injured during the North Dakota pipeline protests on Nov. 21. It’s believed a projectile fired by police exploded on her arm and nearly severed it. She is facing a long recovery. The family has commenced legal action against the authorities over the incident.
