The government should be paying these oppressed eople for their flights, instead they are robbed by the settler.
The demand to fly to these northern communities is very low, with the cost of Aircraft, fuel, and maintenance very high, that is why the price is so high. Cuba you can fill a plane and make money. Flying to Red Sucker or Thomson is another story. Plus the current government has put the pressure on northern airlines to follow the same regulations that major airlines follow without the money, so airplanes that were maybe alright to fly that route two years ago are no longer okay to operate without significant upgrades and repairs. Have you not seen the new paint jobs, Avionics upgrades. New interiors and new Aircraft. You may find another company that will say they can operate your flights but they will have the same problems, and once you put on the company out of business maybe you will not have any options to have flights in and out of your northern communities.
Heather York? Who is Heather York?
First Nations communities have had this problem forever already.
