The mothers of some of the Indigenous women who died in Saskatoon were chosen to help unveil a new monument in their honor in front of the Saskatoon police headquarters.

The Saskatoon police service unveiled a new monument today in honor of Missing and Murdered Indigenous women and girls.

    Thank you so much everyone for making this possible, I’m almost in tears when I saw this I passed by on my way home from working in the hot sun as I passed I was amazed at what I saw infront of the police station. I pray for the missing and murdered indigenous women. We must have total and complete respect for our woman in any ethnicity no matter the case. So I for one pledge that as a man it will be one of my highest priorities to lead by example and show respect and love to women, I hope you who is reading this will do the same…. Thank you for the monument
