Yukon watershed plan gets high-caliber thumbs-up

The final land use plan on Yukon’s Peel River watershed has been released.

It recommends protection for 80 per cent of the last untouched wilderness area in North America.

And as APTN National News reporter Shirley McLean reports, one of Canada’s most visible advocates for the wilderness is endorsing to protect the peel.
