Emotion day as the deadline to get out of #NoDAPL camp arrives in North Dakota

The deadline of Jan. 31 has arrived for anyone still camped at the #NoDAPL site that served as the centre of the fight against the Dakota Access pipeline.

At the height of the resistance, more than 10,000 people called the Oceti Sakowin camp home.

But according to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, it’s time to leave – at least for now.
