Nova Scotia has an annual tradition of giving a Christmas tree to Boston.

Nova Scotia has an annual tradition of giving a Christmas tree to Boston.

It’s a thank you for the U.S. city’s help after the Halifax explosion in 1917.

And, for the first time, a Mi’kmaq community took part in the ceremony.
