With a vacancy coming to the Supreme Court, is it time for an Indigenous justice to sit on the bench?

In September, the Supreme Court will be short when Justice Thomas Cromwell retires.

Usually that would mean someone from Atlantic Canada would be appointed to fill the vacancy.

But Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says not so fast.
