WINNIPEG – After months of negotiations, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will answer questions from Indigenous people live on APTN, via telephone and social media.
Trudeau is scheduled to sit down with APTN National News in Winnipeg, Man., June 3rd at 11:30am CT/12:30 ET in a live special hosted by Cheryl McKenzie .
The special one-hour interview has been in the works since December.
During the federal election, Trudeau promised McKenzie he would sit down with APTN for a yearly interview if he became Prime Minister.
The June 3rd date is the first time availability offered by his office.
It is the first time a sitting Prime Minister has appeared on APTN National News.
