Yukon is one step closer to making national Aboriginal day a paid holiday in the territory.
That would make it the second jurisdiction to do so after the Northwest Territories.
But as Shirley McLean reports, more consultation is needed before all Yukoners can celebrate and honour Canada’s Indigenous people.
