Hearings that will decide the fate of Canada’s only safe injection site get underway this week in Ottawa.
The federal government will take their argument to the Supreme Court of Canada claiming Insite should be closed because it allows people to break the law.
Proponents argue it saves lives.
The hearings begin Thursday.
