A man from a community four hours away from Winnipeg had an idea he posted on Facebook.
A woman he had never met saw his post on a page supporting families of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
The man had an idea to put cameras along the river bank, walkways and under bridges to help stop crime targeting Indigenous women.
The two met Thursday for the first time and APTN’s Shaneen Robinson was there.
