A young Winnipeg girl in the care of Child and Family Services is clinging to life after she was attacked.
The assault is being investigated by the city’s homicide unit.
The girl was being lodged in a hotel, as per CFS practice that continues to be criticized.
As APTN’s Dennis Ward reports, the province is promising to stop putting CFS kids in hotels by June 1.
