Sturgeon Lake chief says sex assault allegations politically motivated

In the March of 2014, Sturgeon Lake RCMP received a complaint of a historical sexual assault alleged to have occurred in September 1974.

Sturgeon Lake Chief Henry Felix was charged with sex assault five months later in August.

The embattled chief is now breaking his silence and claims the allegations are politically motivated.
