The head of the Southern Chiefs’ Organization in Manitoba says the story about a chief in his organization selling condemned houses is overshadowing the real story of people struggling with flooding in their communities.
Terrance Nelson says the focus should be on the fact that hundreds of people are still displaced three years after the community of Lake St. Martin was evacuated.
