Chief releases statement following altercation that left SCO grand chief hospitalized

The chief of a First Nation in Manitoba is the first to release a public statement following an altercation that left the grand chief of the Southern Chiefs’ Organization hospitalized. The SCO has said little, but promises to issue a statement on Thursday.
