Manitoba announces nearly $1.5M downtown safety action plan for Winnipeg

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew announced a downtown safety action plan to address public safety concerns in Winnipeg to the tune of almost $1.5 million. He calls it an 'emergency immediate response' to safety threats like drug or alcohol-induced aggression.
