James Smith Cree Nation says they weren’t included in recommendation discussions

The mass stabbing on James Smith Cree Nation that took place in 2022 has resulted in 33 recommendations for change to various institutions to prevent similar deaths from happening in the future. A National Joint Board of Investigation released an additional 14 recommendations for Correctional Service Canada and the Parole Board of Canada on Tuesday. James Smith Cree Nation says they weren't included in those discussions. We're joined by Chief Robert Head of Peter Chapman Band, one of the three bands that makes up James Smith Cree Nation.
